Social media tips for non-techies

For journalists, there are several associations and conferences you can turn to. The FOLIO: Show, run by Red7Media, is a great conference to attend as is the American Society of Business Publication Editors' annual conference. (full disclosure, I'm on the board of ASBPE).

I am reposting the list of free tools and websites I wrote about for ASBPE's Chicago chapter blog.

The session, "Inside the Ultimate E-media Toolbox" was presented by Evan Hansen, Editor-in-Chief, Wired.com; Joe Pulizzi, Founder and Chief Content Officer, Junta42, and Justin Reid, Online Technical Producer, Dwell.com.
